The Rise of the Dark Sun

Within the realm of possibility,
the truth struggles for release,
hindered by the thoughts of doubt
and deluding cynical belief.
Whether willing to face ourselves,
in the light of day or not,
in the end the truth will rise,
and shatter the lies forgot.
Delusions tread so carefully,
around the brittle eggshells of truth,
not to disturb the sleeping giants
that can dismantle and lay bare our open wounds.
When that old dark sun rises,
consuming the shadows concealed,
because of truth our fallen lies,
with no footing must reveal.
Within that pain of exposure,
truth so stern and stark,
it is we so weak on bended knee,
that bare the final mark.
The choice is ours to face ourselves
and accept our faults and mistakes,
and grow from life as intended,
until love is all that rates.

Here I am @ almost 5 in the morning, but been up since 4:00 am and I read this as inspiration for this Monday. ... The Truth will rise...( really needed this) Great Hub.
