Sweet Passion
By Tony DeLorger © 2011
Sweet passion,
swept into lands unknown,
world regress, to a silent murmur,
Lost within your eyes,
your flesh warm and tantalising,
I can only fall deeper,
mind numb, driven by your touch,
your breath against me,
melting what will remains.
You are my drug of choice,
my sweet, delicate, shimmering being,
alive in a cloud of softest down,
Within your charms I am weakened,
unable to let you go,
unwilling to be parted,
to end this wilderness of love,
this world of rapture.
Passion rises like the tides,
ebbing then flowing through my veins,
my mind a captive,
my soul blissfully at peace within the arms of love.
You are my tempest, my tranquillity, my lust and my love,
You are my dream.
